Why I Love Chicken of the Sea’s Wild-Caught Pink Salmon
You might already know Chicken of the Sea for their canned tuna or packets of flavored tuna that can be used for sandwiches or making casseroles. In recent years, they’ve added more variety to their tinned seafood line-up, including sardines and wild-caught Alaskan salmon. While the cans of salmon are great—I often buy them for making salmon patties—I really love having the packets of Wild-Caught Pink Salmon available for quick lunches. The salmon is tender and flavorful without any fishy flavor, making it a nice blank canvas for a variety of mid-day meals.
My favorite way to eat it is mixed with a small bit of Kewpie mayo and chopped avocado, then seasoned with a bit of rice vinegar and hot sauce.
