It\u2019s a wonderfully fluffy and flavorful side that gets the short end of the stick in terms of year-round usability. While I personally will not go through a single Thanksgiving meal without having some form of stuffing on the menu, I also wouldn\u2019t dream of limiting my enjoyment of the dish any other time of year.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_3-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> As far as boxed stuffings go, Chef\u2019s Cupboard is one of my favorites. The ALDI brand makes a variety of mixes, but the Sage and Onion Hawaiian Stuffing is my favorite. I especially love the fluffy, chewy texture of the crust-on bread cubes and sweet-savory flavor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"heading-toc\" id=\"toc-why-i-love-aldis-chefs-cupboard-sage-and-onion-hawaiian-stuffing\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mntl-sc-block_7-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block lifestyle-sc-block-heading mntl-sc-block-heading\"> <span class=\"mntl-sc-block-heading__text\"> Why I Love ALDI\u2019s Chef\u2019s Cupboard Sage and Onion Hawaiian Stuffing <\/span> <\/h2>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_8-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> While pineapple is not one of the included ingredients, this stuffing has no shortage of sweetness that makes it fit the Hawaiian description perfectly in my book. From the bread cubes (with crusts left on for a nice extra chew) to the combination of soft onions, parsley, sage, and celery throughout, this mix is sweet, fluffy, and moist, with minimal sogginess involved.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_10-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> Like most boxed stuffing brands, this Chef\u2019s Cupboard variety admittedly turns out a bit clumpy and mushy, but it\u2019s not at all overly gummy. At just $0.97 per 6-ounce box, you really can\u2019t expect made-from-scratch levels of excellence here, but you will walk away with a satisfied appetite and a craving for a second serving.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_12-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> If you\u2019re whipping up stuffing with speed in mind, the base instructions simply call for a half stick of butter and 1 1\/2 cups of water to get things rolling. Bring the water and butter to a boil in a saucepan, pour in the stuffing mix, and stir until fluffy, soft, and moist. Remove the pan from the heat, allow it to cool for a few minutes, and fluff with a fork before digging in.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_14-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> While perfect for any holiday setting, this stuffing contains flavors that I personally enjoy tasting more than just a couple of times a year. As a big fan of vegetable casseroles and homemade potato dishes of all kinds, stuffing is the perfect pairing for such side dishes.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_16-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> If I\u2019m really looking for an extravagant meal to pair Hawaiian stuffing with, however, my go-to is usually some form of citrus-baked chicken breast, a side of Brussels sprouts with bacon and lemon juice, and a hearty serving of the Sage and Onion Hawaiian Stuffing.
