<\/p>\n On March 20, Idaho Smokehouse Partners, LLC, recalled nearly 30,000 pounds of CHOMPS ready-to-eat beef and turkey stick products for potentially being contaminated with metal, according to The U.S. Department of Agriculture\u2019s Food Safety and Inspection Service. The company voluntarily recalled two flavors after two consumers reported metal fragments in the products.\n<\/p>\n Fortunately, no one has been injured from consuming one of these products. \u201cThis internal recall was initiated as a precautionary measure out of an abundance of caution. According to the FDA, this recall level indicates that consuming the product could lead to serious health consequences. The recall\u2014which the manufacturer, Great Lakes Cheese Co., did voluntarily on February 15\u2014was initiated after concerns about the product being tainted with stainless steel fragments.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Product: <\/strong>Happy Farms by ALDI Colby Jack Finely Shredded Cheese, 12-ounce pouches No one has been injured from this potential contamination.
