More than 212,000 pounds of liquid egg products have been recalled due to the possibility that they\u2019ve been contaminated with cleaning solution.\n<\/p>\n
Cargill Kitchen Solutions has recalled 212,268 pounds of liquid egg products, including Egg Beaters and Bob Evans brands, that might contain a cleaning mixture with sodium hypochlorite, according to an announcement by the United States Department of Agriculture\u2019s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). Sodium hypochlorite is the main active ingredient in chlorine bleach.\n<\/p>\n
FSIS conducted an investigation after receiving a tip about possible contamination. After investigating, scientists announced a Class III recall, meaning that the use of the products is not likely to cause any health issues.\n<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n The liquid egg products were produced on March 12 and 13, 2025, according to the FSIS. They have the establishment number \u201cG1804\u201d on the carton in ink jet.\n<\/p>\n The recalled products were shipped to distributors in Ohio and Texas and for use at food service locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, and Iowa.
