I love a good kitchen find, especially when it’s both practical and pretty. That’s why I couldn’t help but grab a few of these Dollar Tree square glass jars. They’re stylish and functional, and for just $1.25, they can instantly upgrade the look of any shelf or counter, making everything feel a little more put together.\n<\/p>\n Simply Recipes \/ Dollar Tree<\/p>\n <\/span> Price:<\/strong> $1.25 per jar<\/p>\n Why I Love It:<\/strong> These pretty and functional jars look far more expensive than they cost and have so many uses around my kitchen. I love using them to store pantry essentials and snacks in style, or filling them with homemade gifts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n These jars are unique-looking and super cute. The square shape, rose gold lids, and mother-of-pearl-style iridescent glass make a pretty package. Beyond their good looks, their shape makes it easy to sit them side-by-side and make the most of small spaces. Despite a bit of shimmer, the glass is clear, which allows me to see what’s inside, and the colored lid adds charm.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The screw-top functionality keeps everything from sugar to homemade spice mixes fresh and protected. At 3.5 inches wide and four inches tall, they can hold up to 18 ounces and are the perfect size for most of my day-to-day needs. The opening is 2.75 inches, ideal for fitting a large spoon, scoop, or quarter-cup measure. They’re useful in and out of the kitchen and help me stay organized.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n My daughter likes to grab a small handful of chocolate chips straight from the bag when she wants something sweet, but she never properly closes it. As a result, there are always rogue chocolate chips floating around the pantry. Always trying to stay one step ahead of her, I decanted the chocolate chips into one of these jars and even included a scoop. Now, the lid (usually) goes back on, and there’s less mess to clean up.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Along with snacks like roasted nuts, trail mix, and granola, the jars are great for storing other dry baking goods like flaked coconut and coarse sugar. I also like using them for pantry items I buy in smaller quantities at bulk stores, like unique flours for special baking projects and grains like quinoa and millet.\n<\/p>\n But I’m most excited about using them for gift-giving. I have a friend who’s fond of dehydrated orange wheels. She makes me special drinks every time I visit, often including the oranges as a flavor booster or garnish. The last time I was over, I noticed she paid $8 for a small container of oranges, so I’m going to make her some in my dehydrator and give them to her in this jar.\n<\/p>\n We don’t celebrate each other enough outside of calendar occasions.
