ALDI\u2019s Stonemill Everything Bagel Seasoning, how I love thee, let me count the ways. You amp up my avocado toast, you add oomph to my omelettes, and you flavor my chicken like a champ. And now I love you four times more. That\u2019s because ALDI just debuted three new must-try variations: Himalayan Pink Salt, Jalape\u00f1o, and Asiago Cheese.\n<\/p>\n

Why I Love ALDI\u2019S New Stonemill Everything Bagel Seasonings <\/span> <\/h2>\n

Stonemill\u2019s original Everything Bagel Seasoning is one that I always stock on my spice shelf. I toss it into just about everything and anything, so I was so excited to see three new flavors on a recent ALDI shopping trip. At only $1.69 a jar, I had to do a taste test to see how they stacked up against my regular Everything Bagel seasoning.\n<\/p>\n

I tested them on avocado toast, while my husband and son each went simply with buttered toast. Our verdict? Boy, are they all delicious. We could taste the salinity of the Himalayan Pink Salt, although the roasted garlic flavor came through more strongly than the salt. It could have been named roasted garlic Everything Bagel seasoning \u2014 that\u2019s how distinctly garlicky it was. This one was my husband\u2019s favorite because \u201cit was crunchier.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

The Jalape\u00f1o also contained roasted garlic and toasted onion and reminded me of a slightly spicier regular Everything Bagel seasoning. The jalape\u00f1o\u2019s heat was subtle and not overpowering, a fun little kick of heat that really enhanced my avocado toast. My husband liked it, too, but would have preferred more spice (but he\u2019s the kind of person who really likes the burn of hot peppers).\n<\/p>\n

Why I Love It:<\/strong> These versatile spice blends add big flavor to everything from avocado toast to hummus. I especially love the Jalape\u00f1o version, which adds a subtle kick of heat.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In addition to the everything spices, the Asiago Cheese also contained Parmesan cheese and parsley. The cheese flavor was subtle and not overpowering. Even my son, who usually hates cheese on anything but pizza, didn\u2019t mind it. I think it would be a delicious, crunchy touch to garlic bread.\n<\/p>\n

When matched up against the original, my son said all three tasted close enough to one another that his favorite was still the original Everything Bagel seasoning.\n<\/p>\n

I, however,\u00a0will be switching things up. I\u2019m going to rotate between the Jalape\u00f1o and regular Everything Bagel seasoning for the most part. But when a dish, like hummus, could be enhanced by roasted garlic, I\u2019ll reach for the bottle of Himalayan Pink Salt, or if I\u2019m doing anything remotely Italian or need a touch of cheese, then I\u2019m going with a shake of Asiago.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

They\u2019re perfect for salads, omelets, toast, bagels, chicken, fish\u2026 well, as their name suggests, they\u2019re good for almost everything.\n<\/p>\n
